Argent a tyger’s head erased Or langued Azure;
The tiger’s is a symbol of Hamilton, Ontario, nicknamed “Tiger Town”, the city having adopted the squadron during the Second World War.
This Latin phrase means “We chastise those who deserve to be chastised”.
