Per pale Vert and Azure on a pale Argent the arms and crest of Yukon above two stems of fireweed in saltire proper;
The arms and crest of Yukon are shown with two fireweed plants, the territorial floral emblem. The blue represents Yukon’s rivers and lakes, the green represents its forests, and the white signifies snow.

The Flag was adopted by the Flag Ordinance (O.Y.T. 1967, c.3) assented on the 1 December 1967, to be in force effective on the 1 March 1968.
