Argent a fountain overall a sabre-toothed tiger’s head erased proper;
FANGS OF DEATH;
The tiger’s head symbolizes the squadron’s nickname, the “Sabre-toothed Squadron”. The fountain refers to the squadron’s pioneering first flight of Sabre aircraft across the Atlantic Ocean.

The announcement of the Letters Patent was made on November 3, 2012, in Volume 146, page 3054 of the Canada Gazette.
The badge was originally approved in May 1954.
