Per pale dexter Argent a savage man holding in the dexter hand a staff proper, sinister Or four trees on a grassy mound issuant from base Vert, a chief Gules, all within a bordure per pale Gules and Argent;

The design is basically that of the Prussian Fo(u)restier arms, to which has been added a border of red and white, the colours of Canada.
